Late letter in Judaeo-Arabic, complete. Dated in the month of Tammuz in the final lines of the verso, but without a year. The letter was sent by a certain Ḥayyīm Ben-Hānī (ן׳ האני) to "the merchant" (אלתאגיר) Yiṣḥaq b. Yaʿaqov Shoshan. The word אשפהן (Isfahan/Ispahan?) appears after the sender's name, perhaps an erratic reference to the city Isfahan (this rendering varies greatly from the standard Arabic-script spelling اصفهان).
