Letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Probably from the circle of the Mosul Nasis active in the mid-13th century. The names of the sender and addressee are mostly missing. Discussing the maintenance (mezonot) allotted for the addressee in Cairo and Fustat; "their servants the Cairenes" (māmālīkihim al-qāhiriyyīn); a sum of 10 dinars; meeting with a pious person (אגתמאע במן הו חרד לדבר ייי מרתבט בדינה נטאר פי אלעואקב). It seems like there is some issue with the maintenance payments, and the sender is trying to get them restored. At the end of the letter, the addressee is asked to represent the sender in kissing the ground before the Nagid David (I) Maimonides.
