Letter from the cantor [...] b. Avraham ha-Kohen to his maternal uncle Bū Ibrāhīm(?), in Shubrā Damsīs. In Judaeo-Arabic with the address in Arabic script. Dated: 1439 Seleucid = 1127/28 CE. The surviving text of the letter suggests that it is a letter of condolence, possibly upon the death of a woman (הגבירה). Mentions a cantor (al-ḥazzan al-sh[...]) and another cantor the son of Avraham ha-Kohen. AA. ASE.
