Betrothal contract. In the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe (fl. 1100–1138 CE). The early marriage payment: 40 dinars. The names are missing. The man apparently already has a wife, as there is reference to a contract he makes with his current wife. The woman is marrying for the first time. There is also a reference to 'drinking the glass' (of wine), signifying the engagement/qiddushin. (Information from Friedman.)
