Informal note addressed to a scribe (al-sofer) instructing him to write a petition to 'our master' (sayyidnā) on behalf of a woman in which she can convey her (wretched) state. The scribe should be eloquent and not spare (ואשבע אלמעני ולא תבקי(?)). The sender of this note will pay him a dirham.
