Draft of the beginning of a private letter. In Judaeo-Arabic. Mainly expressions of longing (and perhaps rebuke for abandonment): אללה יעלם באן אלקלב ענדכם וכל גארחתן מני ואנפאסי אללה יעלם במא קד תרכת דארתכם לולא מכאפת אעדא . . . . קדרתו עלי אלא . . . גית . . . עלי אלכד או מאשיין עלי . . . It then repeats itself. Reused on verso for jottings. Dating: likely 12th or 13th century.
