Two fragments of a legal document in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi. Dated: Adar II [1]440 Seleucid = February/March 1129 CE, under the authority of Maṣliaḥ Gaʾon. The reconstruction is not clear but it is possible that Mufaḍḍal b. Mevorakh ha-Levi appeared before the court showing a legal deed issued in Damascus regarding a debt of 30 dinars owed by Abū ʿImrān. The debtor claimed that he already paid it and asked for a bill of release. There is also reference to the father of Mufaḍḍal. Also involves Abū l-Ḥasan b. Ayyūb (maybe the same who appears in T-S 8J37.3 (PGPID 3826)). Join: Oded Zinger.
