Bifolio from a ledger of a merchant. Very neatly written and organized. Dating: likely 12th or 13th century, possibly even 14th. Refers to Alexandria numerous times and to "the gate of Fustat" (Bāb Miṣr) once. Sums are in the tens and hundreds of dinars. Commodities include sal ammoniac (nushādir, here spelled נשאדיר); pieces (qiṭaʿ) of tamarind, boxwood (? shamshār), and cassia fistula (khiyār shanbar). Few names mentioned; maybe only Abū l-Faraj.
