Fols. 1 and 2: Petition in Arabic script. From Mubārak b. ʿAllūn. The addressee is al-Ajaliyya al-Afḍaliyya al-sharafiyya, probably one of the Fatimid wazīrs post al-Afḍal b. Badr al-Jamālī, which dates this petition to the 12th C, and towards the last decades of Fatimid rule. There may be one or two names or other specifics to be read, but seems like the issue is related to taxation because of the phrase "تسلمه من زكاتها مما شيده اهله". Needs further examination.
