Mercantile letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Dating: first half of the 12th century. Distinctive handwriting, especially the alefs. Mentions the well known trader Abū Zikrī Yehuda b. Yosef Kohen. Mentions goods including 8 pounds of silk, a quantity of coarse (khām) fabric, 7 turbans, and טרבה. May say "none of the enemy arrived from Giza" (מא וצל אחד מן אלגיזה מן אלעדו), but this is uncertain and the context is missing. Refers to other business affairs and perhaps a woman who is sick (ומא נדרי אשפיהא ופיהא . . . . פאדא מן אללה בסלאמ[תהא). Also mentions [...] b. Nisim al-Iskandarānī. (Information in part from CUDL.)
