Letter from an unidentified sender (Shelomo b. Eliyyahu?) to al-Shaykh al-Ṣafiyy. The addressee is asked to "give this paper" (another letter that was originally enclosed?) to Sayyidnā al-Nagid (likely Avraham Maimonides). The sender is in unspecified distress of some kind. The addressee should read the letter before passing it on, so that he will know what to say on the sender's behalf. (Information in part from CUDL)
