Letter of condolence in Judaeo-Arabic. Probably in the handwriting of Ṭoviyya b. ʿEli. Addressed to 'rabbenu.' He learned from Abū Ṣāliḥ of the death of a woman. He regrets that he missed the shivʿa, but reports that he has prayed the tarḥīm (prayer for the deceased) over a Torah scroll and sends condolences to the family. ASE
