Description / Bio

Enslaved woman from Rūm who was manumitted by the dyer Ibn al-Watīd and is the subject of a 1091 legal document in which the mother of a certain Saʿd al-Mulk guarantees her eligibility for marriage to any Jewish man she pleases.
