Credit instrument or private receipt L-G Ar. II.140Description
IB V, 36.1. Money order. In Arabic script with a Hebrew 'emet' at the top. Abū l-Faraj is asked to pay 2.5 dirhams to the bearer Sayyid Muḥammad (or Bū Majd?). Belongs with T-S AS 181.10 (PGPID 37438). Previously thought to be an Abū Zikrī Kohen order of payment, but in fact it looks quite different. (Information in part from Goitein's note card.)
