Description

Legal document. Mutual release from claims upon the dissolution of a partnership between Saʿīd b. Saʿadya and Shemuel b. Avraham. No details of the partnership preserved. This may be an unfinished draft, as the last line appears to be incomplete. There are a few uncommon legal formulae; it may have been drawn up outside of Fustat. Reused on recto for literary text in Hebrew. (Information in part from Goitein's index card.)
