Description

Court record: debt quittance. Sitt al-Sāda bt. Mukhtār releases someone in her own name, that of her husband Makhlūf Neʾeman ha-Yeshiva and of her son Abū l-Fakhr b. Makhlūf (who testifies himself). Hand of Natan b. Shemuʾel he-ḥaver. (Information from Goitein's index card and CUDL.) On verso there are Hebrew notes relating to ʿorla ('uncircumcised fruit', i.e. the prohibition against eating fruit from young trees).
