Description

Legal document. Location: Fustat. Dated: Iyyar 1452 Seleucid = April/May 1141 CE. Regarding the sale of a house in Minyat Zifta costing 9 dinars. Between Farajiyya bt. Ṣedaqa and Ṣedaqa b. Yūsuf. 6 1/3 dinars had been paid, and a balance of 1 2/3 dinars were to be paid in Tishrei (Sept/Oct). Witnesses: Yeshuʿa b. ʿEli ha-Kohen and Yakhin b. Sheʾerit. (Information mainly from Goitein's index card.)
