Description

A list of items beginning with the basmala and ending with an inshāllah. The name al-shaykh Dāʾud appears at upper left (in a different hand). Quantities are expressed in dirhams (written ادراهم with an auxiliary alif). The colors of items are listed as azure (samanjūnī) and white, and the word ḥarīr (silk) may appear in l. 2 as well as laʿāliʿ (silk garments?). (Goitein's index card and CUDL both suggest that this is a medical recipe, but this does not appear to be the case.)
