Description

Deed of gift of part of a house. In the hand of Natan b. Shemuel he-Ḥaver. Location: Fusṭāṭ. The gift is from Abū Manṣūr (l. 24) to Abū l-Maʿālī (l. 4). The house is adjacent to the house known as as the dwelling of "our prince, Head of the Congregations (Rosh ha-Qehillot)." Another nearby house is known by the name of Ḥashīsh(?) the miller (al-ṭahḥan). There are no signatures here; it may have continued onto another sheet.
