Description

Opening of a letter from 'the community of Jews on the jazīra(?)' to Abū Kathīr Efrayim b. Shemarya (1007–55 CE), with extensive rhymed phrases. The letter is prefaced by כי רם יי and the opening words are שלום רב בישע מעורב. Address in Arabic script on verso. (Information from CUDL and Goitein's index card.)
