Legal document. In Judaeo-Arabic. Dated: Monday night, 3 Iyyar 1648 Seleucid, which is 1337 CE. (Date erroneous in Goitein, corrected according to the document following Dotan Arad). The deed concerns repairs in a house that was partly privately owned by a man and his nephew (named in the document), and partly a pious foundation for the poor (ṣaʿālīk) of the Qaraite community.
