Description
Letter from Yiṣḥaq b. Avraham, in Alexandria, to Shemuel b. Baḥur, probably in Fustat. In Judaeo-Arabic. The sender intended to travel to Tūnis, but when he arrived in Alexandria, the ships were already setting sail. He conveyed the addressee's rebuke for Dāʾūd al-[...] who says he will travel as soon as Bū l-Ḥasan Ibn ʿAṣīda arrives. The sender has occupied himself in a shop with Yaʿaqov al-Qalʿī and they are awaiting a ship with a messenger. Greetings from Mūsā and greetings for the addressee and Avraham al-Ṣabbāgh.(Information in part from Goitein's index card.)
