- for all that he does in [her affair.... There remain]
- incumbent upon him, this Mevorakh b. Japheth [...] upon him ten [dina]rs, of the d[inars of]
- the state. She has no right to cla[im of them one peruṭa as long as he is alive] and she is under his jurisdiction, well-off, not hungry and [not]
- thirsty. This Mevorakh b. Ja[pheth] took [this Dalãl daughter of Yaḥye] in complete qiddushin. And this is what she brought in with her from [the] Merci[ful]
- and from the house of her fathers: a slip of very fine linen, and a coat made of different materials—two [dinar]s, five skullcaps—three dinars, a ... half mantle—one and a half dinar, three [pillows—]
- one half dinar, a shawl—<two> dinars. The sum total is nine and a third dinars. And these and these (!) are for her and for her son after her. And if he hates her without (her being guilty of) miscon-

- to end. And we performed a qinyan with him (to affirm) that he would not desecrate in her presence her festivals and that he conduct himself with her as she conducts herself with him. They took upon themselves the security
- and stringencies of this deed—marriage contract—as the strictness and stringencies of valid marriage deeds, verified in court, not like promises,
- nor like formularies. We performed a complete strict qinyan with them, with an implement suitable for this, for all that is written and specified above.
- This marriage deed is valid and trustworthy wherever it is produced and read, whether in the statutes of our lords the sages o[r in the laws of the gen-]
