Description

Verso (original use): Probably a letter, in Arabic script. Eight lines are preserved, with wide line spacing and a large right margin. Dating: likely no earlier than 13th century. A learner has subsequently copied the lines as a writing exercise in the interlinear spaces. Written in an elevated register. Needs examination for content. Excerpts: والمملوك في هذا الزمان . . . هذا الشان متعامل عنه واي غفلة لم تبق لي به . . . وذلك ان احباىي الذين كانور يشحدون(؟) حاطري عليه. . . .محبتهم اليه . . . . كانهم احلام . . .
