Description

Mysterious text in Arabic script. Magical? The upper part of the text is torn away. Where it begins it states "I have released the bearer of this my letter from every hardship and [...] and [...] and conflict (ṣirāʿ, or headache, ṣudāʿ). . ." The next phrase includes the preposition naḥwa twice Then it invokes the prophets and the revelation at the hand of the prophet Moses (Mūsā b. ʿImrān). The bottom line may give the name of the writer (wa-kataba. . .) but it is difficult to read.
