Description

Letter in very formal poetical Hebrew. An addressee is clearly specified "our rabbi [...] the son of [...]" but his name is torn away. Little of the substance is preserved. The use of Babylonian vowels and the handwriting suggest Yemeni origin. It may be significant that this was preserved near ENA 4101.11a + ENA 4101.11b (PGPID 40652), an important document from Yemen concerning a messianic controversy.
