Description

Alchemical and/or medicinal recipes. The first line on ENA 2862.1r mentions silver, copper, and gold. The lower entry on ENA 2862.1v provides instructions for dealing with a "būnduqī", possibly a Venetian gold coin, but the scribe could have also intended "hazlenut." The entry includes instructions for placing the object in fire and may rely on the Ottoman Turkish word for "smoke" (dūmān). Requires further examination.
