Description

Recto: Page from a medical treatise in Judaeo-Arabic, the chapter on headache. In the hand of the scribe Shelomo b. Shemuel b. Saʿadya ha-Levi (active until ca. 1231 CE). Verso: In the same hand, pen trials including "the third part of the Guide for the Perplexed by Rabbenu Moshe זצ״ל." Shelomo is known from other manuscripts to have been among the first copyists of the Guide.
