Description

Draft of the opening of a deferential letter to someone addressed as 'al-mawlā [...] al-jalīl al-aṣīl al-ḥakīm al-fahīm al-wadīd al-sadīd..." On verso there are similar jottings in Judaeo-Arabic (al-Rayyis etc.) and accounts in Arabic script and Greek/Coptic numerals. Dating: ca. 1150–1250.
