Description

Tax receipt. Layout is that of the usual jizya (capitation tax) receipts, however this is for the ground rent (ḥikr) payment of a group of people (al-mujab ʿalayhim) in Fustat. The payment seems to be only 1/2 dinar for an entire year (572 AH?). Needs further examination.
