Description

Receipt issued to the khuzzān of the Fayyūm tax districts against revenue delivered by Abū l-Ḥasan b. Wahb. Dated: 16 Ṣafar 404. Written by the jahbadh Mīkhāʾīl b. ʿAbd al-Masīḥ. Measurements: 5.3 x 8 + 6.7 x 8.1 cm. On the verso of both fragments, written before the recto, there are parts of a letter mentioning a رقاص (see separate entry).
