Description

Verso (original use): Petition in Arabic script. From three merchants. Opens with blessings for the caliph. None of the substance is preserved. The formula "ضاعف الله انواره واعلى مناره" is very similar to the formula in petitions addressed to the Fatimid caliph al-ʾĀmir. (For parallels see - T-S Ar. 30.273, T-S Ar. 38.138, T-S Ar. 34.88).
