Petition or very deferential letter in Arabic script. Unclear if or how it is related to the Hebrew-script letter on the other side. Addressed to "al-ḥaḍra al-ʿāliya al-jalīla...." Mentions distress/"shidda" at least once. The last phrase on the page is "she wrote to him a ruqʿa in her own handwriting" (the feminine pronoun may refer to the 'ḥaḍra').
