Description

Legal testimony. In Judaeo-Arabic. In the hand of Yedutun ha-Levi (active late 12th and first part of the 13th century). Gives a very detailed report of a conflict that took place in the synagogue on the 9th of Av. Mentions people such as al-Kohen al-Nā'ib; Yehoṣadaq ha-Kohen; an elder who is blind (sagi nahor); Ibn Yaḥyā; a fine owed to the governor (wālī al-ḥarb); a certain Ṣedaqa; and a Nasi. Should be edited.
