Description
Letter fragment. In Judaeo-Arabic, ending with a ḥasbala in Arabic script (left upper margin). Written on parchment (hair side only). Dating: probably 11th century. Could be from Sicily. Mentions the sender'sgreat distress and worry (shughl, taʿlīq qalb); receiving letters from somebody "may God not plan anything good for him" (מן לא דכרה אללה בכיר); the arrival of Abū l-Faraj; and Abū Isḥāq b. Barukh. Greetings are sent to Abū Sahl.
