  8. ابى الحسن على بن بهار وعمالة ابو السرى ثيدر بن يحنس
  9. النصف من ذلك ربع وسدس                مبلغه نصف وثلث وثمن واثنين              ونصف ثمن وواحد 
  10. وكتب ميخائيل بن عبد المسيح الجهبذ صح الخمسة والعشرين من ذى القعدة

  3. They have registered the amount of two, a half, a third and an eighth. 
  4. Praise be to God for his bounties.
  5. In the name of God, the merciful and compassionate.
  6. A valid receipt has been granted to ʾAbū al-Ḥasan ibn Wahb for the sum owed through his standing surety for the estates in the town of al-Fayyūm for the year four-hundred and three, 
  7. under the supervision of the auspicious, rightly-guided judge, Ṯiqat al-Mulk Makīn al-Dawla wa-ʾAmīnuhā, the protégé of the commander of the faithful, 
  8. ʾAbū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī ibn Bahār, with ʾAbū al-Sarī Theodor ibn Yuḥannis acting as accountant. 
  9. Half of this: One, a quarter, a sixth and a sixteenth. Its amount: Two, a half, a  third and an eighth.
  10. Written by Mīḵāʾīl ibn ʿAbd al-Masīḥ, the cashier. Valid. The twenty-fifth of Ḏū al-Qaʿda 
  11. in the year four-hundred and three.
