Description

Late accounts mentioning at least two markets and many names, such as: ʿĀmr b. Aḥ[mad], ʿUmr Jazzār, Sulṭān b. Aḥ[mad] Sharqjānī(?) (שרקגאני). A partial date in the month of Rajab is visible in the first line of the recto and states "in the year" but it is unclear if the year was written via shorthand or omitted. The paleography is consistent with 16th- and 17th-century documents. Requires further examination. MCD.
