Description

Small fragment from a letter, probably. The hand looks like that of Hillel b. ʿEli (fl. 1066–1108 CE). Mentions the purchase of a censer with a handle (yad al-midkhana) by "al-kohen" and mentions "my master Abū Isḥāq." For another document in the hand of Hillel b. ʿEli mentioning a "yad midkhana" see CUL Add.3418 + CUL Add.3421 (PGPID 5388) (probably unrelated to this document). AA/ASE
