Business letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Dating: Probably 12th century. Mentions Alexandria; business negotiations with Abū Naṣr, concluding with a purchase for only 30 dinars; refers to "the shortage of dirhams in the market"; requests 50 dinars "in dirhams"; refers to two two robes for Muslim and two robes for Barakāt; an issue involving the qāḍī and al-Bijāʾī the faqīh (i.e., from Bijāya). Greetings to Abū l-Ḥasan and Muslim and Abū l-Barakāt. At the end of the letter, asks for news of a trader in Yemen should anyone arrive from there. A portion of a name is preserved on verso: Yosef ha-Kohen - maybe the addressee is Abū Zikrī Kohen (Yehuda b. Yosef).
