Verso: Letter in the hand of Ṭoviyya b. ʿEli referring to how the qāḍī ʿĪsā [..]l al-Mulk Ṣāḥib al-Tartīb known as Ibn Hārūn kisses the hands of the new Nagid, for the late Gaʾon (Maṣliaḥ?) was good to him and therefore he was good to the Jews. On "Ṣāḥib al-Tartīb" (The Master of Disposition) as a title for a qāḍī, see CUL Or.1080 J39 + BL OR 5566B.5 and Goitein, Med Soc II, p. 607 note 4 On recto there are remnants of accounts in Judaeo-Arabic, with one line in Arabic script at the bottom. Mentions dates, various ruqʿas, and various sums of money.
