Description

Recto is a piece of a letter or petition describing legal negotiations, in which a woman makes a declaration, someone is granted permission to meet with a younger brother and with Abū l-Bishr Azhar. Verso might be the continuation, which says that nothing shall be done without the permission of 'our master' (illā bi-idhn... sayyidinā...). Concludes with a raʾy clause, 'the lofty decision belongs to our master the exilarch (sayyidnā Rosh ha-Gola)."
