Description

Bottom of a legal document in Arabic script involving Jewish silk traders (al-qazzāzīn al-isrāʾīliyyīn). Two signatures are preserved. Underneath, the tops of the letters are visible from a few words written in very large Arabic script. Reused for Hebrew liturgical text or piyyuṭ on recto.
