Description

Damaged legal deed written by Halfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi (1100–38), under the authority of Maṣliaḥ Gaʾon (1127–39). Written on one page of a bifolio. Regarding the late installment of the ketubba of Sitt al-Jamāl bt. Yefet [...] al-Dallāl valued at 100 dinars. She sues her son Abū l-Mufaḍḍal Saʿd for this amount from the estate of his late father. Also mentions valuable goods (from her dowry?) including amber and gold prayer beads (subḥa ʿanbar bi-dhahab) totaling 12 dinars.
