Description

Recto: Fragment from the beginning of a personal letter in Arabic script. Crossed out. Verso: Informal note in Judaeo-Arabic. "O you whose slave I am: the servant came to the house in the end, seeking you on account of the meat (al-laḥma) that is with me, since I didn't manage to make it, because it is wretched (muqāraba). . . . by God, get up and buy for me. . . from the market. . . ." At the bottom there are jottings of phrases from the beginning of a letter in Arabic script.
