Description

Bifolio from a court ledger in the hand of Shemuel b. Saʿadya ha-Levi. It is hard to make anything of the writing on the small pages. (The mirror image large letters overlying the text are ink transfer from T-S Misc.20.103, which also contains additional several lines of imprinted text originally from T-S Misc.20.100 which have since been torn away.) On the large pages, there is a ketubba for ʿAmram b. Yeshuʿa ha-Zaqen and Sitt al-Nasab, dated Thursday, 24 Tevet 1477 Seleucid = 30 December 1165 CE, under the authority of the Gaʾon Netanʾel ha-Levi (recto), with part of the trousseau list preserved (verso).
