Description

Fragment of an 11th-century legal document in Judaeo-Arabic. In the hand of Efrayim b. Shemarya? It involves Manṣūr and ʿAmram. It seems that one of them takes an oath that he will work for the other, either beginning or ending at the end of Nisan 13[..] Seleucid. A sum of 40 dirhams is named. The phrase "his effort and his advice to his teacher" appears out of context, and medicinal syrups or wine (sharāb) are mentioned next.
