Description

State document with a header invoking the name of al-Qāḍī al-Ashraf thiqat al-imām. The main text is barely three lines long, followed by sums and registration marks. There is a mention of "carpet spreaders of the palace" (farrāshī l-quṣur), and an iqṭāʿ. A date is also preserved. Extremely elegant hand. The ʿalāma is: "al-ḥamdu li-llāh ḥamd al-shākirīn". Needs examination.
