Description

Testimony, in Arabic script, on parchment, written in paragraphs of two lines which is a common feature of some marriage documents. Begins هذا ما شهد الشهو[د]. Mentions شرعي, and قبضت. Also contains an ʿalāma in the margin (al-ḥamdu li-llāh mutaallī l-bashāʾir?). There is another (later) document on the verso mentioning Futūḥ b. Ismaʿīl al-[?]. Few lines are preserved. There are pinholes in the margin. (AP)
