Description

State document, in chancery hand. The ends of 5 lines are preserved. Probably a report mentioning the royal kitchen "maṭbakh" and lamb meat "laḥm al-kharīf." The term maṭbakh often means sugar refinery in state documents, though the reference to meat suggests it is a kitchen here. Lamb is technically kharūf, so it may read laḥm al-khirāf (pl.).
