Description

Verso: Account in Arabic script, listing mainly items of clothing. Headed by the glyph followed by 'al-mamālīk al-ʿazīza.' Subsections are headed by 'al-wāṣil' and 'waṣala.' Items include caps including qabāʾ and sharābīsh (sg. sharbūsh), clothing including sarāwīlāt (sg. sirwāl) meaning breeches, footwear including zarābīl (sg. zarbūl) and sarāmīz (sg. sarmūza), and ṣābūn (soap). On recto there is Hebrew piyyut. If the reading is correct, the goods are headed to Sirūs, which could either be the name of a person or the city in Spain (Seròs). Needs further examination.
